New Mexico says it has reached a $150,000 settlement over the fuel spill into the Cimarron River. A Tanker Truck owned by Fronk Oil overturned on an icy highway in 2016 and spilled over 1,100 gallons of gasoline and diesel near the Cimarron Canyon State Park. The accident caused a mile and a half of the river to close for months, killing fish and contaminating the water.
